Microsoft has announced its new productivity tool, Microsoft 365 Copilot that will be available for use in two ways. The first is through integration with Microsoft 365’s most popular apps, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. The second is through a new application called Business Chat which is also announced with Copilot. Business Chat will allow customers to interact with Copilot across their calendar, emails, chats, documents, meetings, and contacts.

“Copilot combines the power of large language models with your data and apps to turn your words into the most powerful productivity tool on the planet,” said Jared Spataro, Corporate Vice President of Modern Work and Business Applications, at Microsoft. “By grounding in your business content and context, Copilot delivers results that are relevant and actionable. It’s enterprise-ready, built on Microsoft’s comprehensive approach to security, compliance, privacy and responsible AI. Copilot marks a new era of computing that will fundamentally transform the way we work.”

Copilot’s integration with Microsoft 365’s apps will enable customers to be more creative and productive in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
